There is a  force of evil that has haunted humanity since Sumerian times. Now an ancient power has its sights on a demonic invasion of the earth. The JLA, with the help of the mystical powers of Dr. Fate, will venture through a one-way portal into a prehistoric demon pit to rescue a hero abandoned in the depths of this Babylonian hell. Their only way home relies on the power of an ancient goddess, whose will is channeled through the very woman they came to save. Now, facing an ancient evil, the JLA's goal isn't just to find a friend in need, but to survive the journey.
